Hey recruiter friends,
Tyler here with another HireScribe update.
Quick refresher: HireScribe records, transcribes, and summarizes your hiring calls. Everything runs locally on your machine by default. No data leaves your laptop unless you want it to.
What just shipped in v0.4.0:
Interview compliance, built in — HireScribe now handles two-party consent for you. Pick the candidate's jurisdiction (every US state, Canada, UK), and HireScribe generates the right disclosure script, captures a timestamped consent record, and includes it in your exports. If legal or your HRBP asks "did we have consent for that call?", the answer is in the file.
Better local summaries — The default AI model is now Qwen3.5-4B. Noticeably better output, still runs entirely on your machine, still no API key required. If you tried local summaries before and they felt rough, it's worth another look.
Where we're headed:
Integrations. The compliance work was necessary groundwork (you need clean, structured data before you pipe it anywhere useful). Next is getting your interview summaries into the tools your team already uses without copy-paste.
The app is live at gethirescribe.com. If you're already running an older version, just download the new one. Your library, settings, and templates carry over automatically.
Reply if anything's off. It goes straight to me.
